This report addresses the impact of the bacterium Pseudomonas savastanoi pv. savastanoi in the olive grove, causing the disease known as olive tuberculosis. This pathology seriously affects the production and quality of olive oil by altering the vascular tissues of the plant, causing the formation of galls that impede the flow of substances and affect the vigor of the plant. Timely prevention and the application of products such as Bactofus® are essential to control the advance of this disease and avoid production losses.
