This report presents the results of a study conducted in the commercial orchard Fundo Santa Cecilia in Rengo, Chile, with the objective of evaluating the efficacy of the Tavan program in the control of bacterial canker (Pseudomonas syringae) in cherry cv. Bing. Two treatments were compared: a conventional field program and the Tavan program, evaluating variables such as CFU count, in vitro efficacy test and incidence of cankers in shoots of the season.
