This report highlights the effectiveness of WERT® as a protection strategy against fungi and bacteria during leaf fall in deciduous trees. The senescence process, common in autumn, generates small wounds in the leaves that facilitate the entry of phytopathogens. The application of WERT® protects plant wounds, preventing pathogen colonization and reducing bacterial load and fungal mycelia.
