The trial was conducted in a 2-year-old avocado plantation, Hass variety, in Llaurí, Valencia, owned by Ramón Hernández. The objective was to stimulate the balanced growth of the plant to favor an early entry into production, addressing serious nutritional and sanitary problems. Treatments from the TAVÁN range were used, zero residue products, with no safety period and respectful of useful fauna and the environment.
