TECNOLOGÍAS AVANZADAS AGRÍCOLAS, S.L. has received support from IVACE for the project "New treatments to address the phytopathology of Diospyros kaki plantations produced by the infection of the phytopathogenic fungus Mycosphaerella nawae, from a preventive and curative point of view in organic crops". The project has been supported by IVACE within the program "PROYECTOS DE I+D DE PYME (PIDI-CV) para el ejercicio 2022", with a grant of 29,272.50€ and with funding from the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), in a percentage of 45%, through the ERDF Operational Program of the Valencian Community 2021-2027. ".
OBJECTIVE: The general objective of the project is to develop new sustainable treatments against phytopathogenic fungi. Mycosphaerella nawaeThe aim of the project is to develop biotechnology-based treatments to increase agricultural yields in the persimmon crop. Specifically, a new treatment against the fungus will be studied. Mycosphaerella nawaeThe fungus is a fungus that causes heavy economic losses by affecting persimmon trees and fruits.
RESULTS: As a result of the project, an effective treatment (preventive and curative) has been developed to combat the fungus. Mycosphaerella nawae that causes leaf spot disease in persimmon.
The main advantages of the new product are:
- Efficiency
- It avoids the loss of trees with the consequent economic losses.
- Sustainable: suitable for organic crops
- Treatment suitable for all weather conditions.
- Free of chemical residues
