Project imidta/2020/55 "sme r&d projects (pidi-cv)".

TECNOLOGÍAS AVANZADAS AGRÍCOLAS, S.L. has received IVACE's support for the project "RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT OF A NEW BIOTECHNOLOGICAL PRODUCT TO INCREASE NUTRIENT AVAILABILITY IN SOILS DURING BOTTOM-FERTILIZATION OPERATIONS". The project has been supported by IVACE within the program "PROYECTOS DE I+D DE PYME (PIDI-CV) para el ejercicio 2020", with a grant of 23,683.95€ and with funding from the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), in a percentage of 50 %, through the ERDF Operational Program of the Valencian Community 2014-2020.

OBJECTIVE: The main objective of this project is the research and development of a new bioproduct for bottom dressing application, based on a specific microorganism able to improve the availability of nutrients already present in the soil or to fix them directly from the atmosphere (case of nitrogen). The use of this bioproduct during bottom dressing activities, therefore, will reduce the consumption of chemical fertilizers, thus reducing the negative impact on the environment and on the farmer's economy.

RESULTS: As a result of the project, a biotechnology-based product has been developed with the following technical and economic characteristics:

  1. Effective product for general use in soils to improve the availability of essential nutrients during bottom dressing.
  2. Reduction of fertilizer requirements during the bottom fertilization process.
  3. Reduction of the economic costs derived from the fertilization process of the fields.
  4. Reduction of environmental problems derived from inadequate and excessive use of nutrients during field fertilization.
  5. Sustainable.
  6. Free of chemical residues.
