Cherry production in the O'Higgins Region is critical to Chile's export industry. This report addresses cherry bacterial cancer, one of the most serious diseases affecting the crop, and presents control strategies based on three years of research, carried out with the collaboration of growers, agrochemical companies and the support of the Regional Government's Innovation and Competitiveness Fund.
